necesito una ayuda, tengo una acer aspire 5315-2142, la cual no le funciona la opción Fn+F6, que las opción que permite oscurecer el monitor pero el equipo permanece encendido. si me pueden ayudar se los agradezco.

Aspire 5315 Heat problem !!
I have such a laptop and it came with vista…Vista suck’s for my laptop so i thought why not XP… mucho faster!!!
but my laptop got warm and overheated… resulting in a system shutdown.
Problem was that the CPU FAN was not running properly. the bios wasn’t backwards compatible.. i made a boot disk and put the “proper” bios update on in …. (the 1.4 version of vista…@#$%???) But now it works !!!

and choose the 1.4 Vista Bios.

Ps: Dont forget that the bios settings are back to default after flashing….
So maybe write stuff down ok….

Thank you so much alex, just want to let you know that i ‘ve sucessfuuly use your drivers and method to install driver for XP in acer aspire one except ethernet. But I’m more than happy with it now, thanks a million

First of all a large f**k to acer corporation, because they do not provide windows xp drivers for acer aspire 5315.

Here my friends you have a link for all drivers for model: Acer ASPIRE 5315-302G18Mi | Intel Celeron 460, VGA Intel x3100, 2 GB DDR2, LAN BroadCom, Wireless BroadCom Chipset, 160 hdd)

http://mihd.net/bq9rvs3 , aprox 22 MB, all drivers ripped with My Drivers, you will need to install with update wizard from device manager, each device, the order is this:

1. Audio Driver
2. Modem Driver
3. VGA Driver
4. WiFi Driver
5. LAN Driver.

My windows was: Microsoft Windows XP Service Pack 3. (Microsoft original ISO release that one that doesn’t have integrated Internet Explorer 7 and Windows Media Player 11).
